CPU Inc. (Computer Peripherals Unlimited, Inc.) was founded in 1989. In 1992 the company purchased Flagstaff Engineering and in 1994 acquired NovaStor Corporation's hardware division. CPU now has over 6,300 customers at 21,000 locations worldwide.

CPU's products encompass numerous tape drive formats including 3480 - 3590, 9-track, and various 8mm and 4mm tape drives. Recently, CPU, Inc. has added disk-based RAID technology to its lienup. We also offer Qualstar tape libraries and data interchange/backup software from NovaStor.

CPU provides state-of-the-art tape processing services, and a diskette conversion system capable of reading/writing more than 300 diskette formats from all types of computers.
