1989, Computer Peripherals Unlimited, Inc. has been a worldwide
supplier of tape and disk systems for reliable, high-performance
backup, data interchange and mass storage.
CPU Inc. (Computer Peripherals Unlimited, Inc.) was founded in
1989. In 1992 the company purchased Flagstaff Engineering and in
1994 acquired NovaStor Corporation's hardware division. CPU now
has over 6,300 customers at 21,000 locations worldwide.
The company operates from two locations. Corporate operations and
administration are managed from the company's main offices in beautiful
Flagstaff, Arizona and sales, engineering, and distribution are located
in Mesa, Arizona.
CPU's products encompass numerous tape drive formats including
3480 - 3590, 9-track, and various 8mm and 4mm tape drives. Recently,
CPU, Inc. has added disk-based RAID technology to its lienup. We
also offer Qualstar tape libraries and data interchange/backup software
from NovaStor.
CPU provides state-of-the-art tape processing services, and a diskette
conversion system capable of reading/writing more than 300 diskette
formats from all types of computers.
Products are usually available from stock and CPU provides unlimited
technical support on all items--for the life of the product.
