128-Track Tape Drive - IBM Magstar B11 & B1A

IBM 3590, Model B11

The 3590 model B11 is a rack-mounted tape drive with an automatic cartridge facility (ACF). The 10 cartridge ACF allows the drive to be used as a mini-library with access up to 200 GB (compressed). The B11 can be easily converted to a B1A for use in a fully automated library system.

This unit can easily be upgraded to the model E11 for enhanced capacity and performance specifications while maintaining investment protection.
